At the early age of twelve, I began to work in order to support my
studies in primary and secondary. After I graduated in High school, I
went to Manila to pursue my schooling in college. I work in the morning
and attend school at night, which is my daily routine for almost five
years. I experienced a lot of hardship but I never think about quitting.
Thus, despite my hectic schedule as a working student, I managed to
finish my four-year course at Jose Rizal University Mandaluyong as a
degree of B.S Information Technology. After graduating from college in
2007, I thought everything was over but I realized to have a diploma is
not the end of learning and sacrifices but it is the beginning.
In 2008, I was married to Annabel Ponce Lugod and blessed with 3 kids
Matthew, Nathaniel and Hannabel. Being a father and breadwinner of the
family, I experienced many times that I do not have even a single coin
on my wallet to buy milk, diapers, and vitamins for my kids. That time I
realized being an employed, my salary is not enough to support our
daily expenses and I need to look for another source of income to pay
all my monthly bills including rent of a small room, electricity, and
water bills. I have worked for almost ten consecutive years in different
fields but nothing happened I’m still hard up and always wondering how
to earn more money. I do not want my children to experience of what I
have been through before when I was a child. Then I realized that if I continue what I’m doing, I might not be able
to live the life that I wanted. So I started to think outside of the box
to find solutions to my problems.
Therefore, I asked people who have been ahead of me 5 to 10 years in the
job were am working and I found out they remain hard up and they are
still paying their debts and do not have saving which I don’t want to be
the same. I decided to make a different move but I don’t know how. What
I did was looking a person to teach me and I invested money for my
ideas. I attended trainings, seminars, workshops, bought books and dvd
for tutorials. This is what I learned that if you want to succeed and
achieve your goals, you have to help others succeed first.
When I read the book of Robert T. Kiyosaki The Business School second
edition For People who like helping People. He said, “The richest people
in the world build networks but everyone else is trained to look for
work. If you want to be rich, you need to be a business owner and an
investor or you can start a network marketing business part time and
build it while you keep your job”.
This opens my entrepreneurial mindset to look for an extra-income. That
point I started to find a company where I want to invest to start a
business. A friend of mine introduced to me a Networking company that
help me to enhanced my abilities in sales, communication, teamwork,
leadership, positive thinking, self-improvement, public speaking, time
and money investment as well as the support of my uplines as a personal
coach and mentor the skills I developed will last a lifetime.
Right now, I'm on my journey in working towards my dreams to become
financially free. I am grateful when I started this business, even to
those who doubted and never believed in me. It served as my turning
point to prove that this business work and the fastest way to success.
My Goal is to retire young and wealthy at the age of 40, having my own
dream house and lot, dream cars, having a happy and healthy family,
enjoying financial and time freedom, helping people and serving God,
which is my ultimate dreams.
Lastly, I'd like to thank you for visiting my blog, I hope my story and
visions inspired you. Have a great day and God bless you.
